Jonathan and Juliet:
We are silly and passionate and ridiculous and love our family and the Lord with all our hearts. Jonathan loves fishing and anything outdoors, has an incredible talent for writing diddie's and holding onto their melody all the day long days! He is remarkably witty, a beautiful painter, and basically the kind of person a lot of sorts out there might not believe in... because he actually is as wonderful as he seems.
Juliet is a writer and someone who talks with her hands, very often as a means to contain herself... she has a talent for voice mimicking and can perform an impressive range of Disney characters as well as the occasional Seseme street friend. We love olives and ice cream and have complete opposite food tastes in many ways, but that does actually stand out as one of the few things we do not have in common. We paint together and laugh together and are avid fans of Swamp People and The Office. We love to play and we love to learn, and we love the Lord more than words could ever say. We are in love with each other and our children, who daily give us more and more meaning and purpose, and strive to be the best we can be for them, for Jesus and for one another... every single day.
Judea aka "Treasure Love":
Judea is the most phenomenal child...completely brilliant and deeply sincere, tender and kind and good and hilarious just like her daddy. Judea has a rhythm all her own, and needs her own space and time before she comes out of her shell, but when she does its miraculous and highly worth the wait. She loves a lot and does it with her whole heart... her favorite things are her kitty Besso, who waits for us in Thailand, her little sister that she is just so good to, coloring, painting and the color green. Making everything the color green, including her eggs and juice in the morning... (food coloring) Cheshire cat and Ariel, the "learning book" and princesses... making new friends and always showing us the new things she learns. She is passionate and beautiful and the most precious and intelligent little girl in the world... We daily marvel over who she is and in imagining who she will one day become. She is our darling and we cherish her and thank God for her.
Galilee aka "Baby heart":
From the moment she came into the world, our Galilee has been a joy filled thankful child. She had a hard time during pregnancy and upon arriving five weeks early, and we feel because of her hardships, the Lord has given her a spirit of such gratefulness and joy for all she has, and it is expressed in near everything she does. We call her our sunshine and rainbows baby, because she is always filled with glee and laughter and tenderness for those she loves. She is a quieter soul than Judea in many ways, but her sweetness and sincerity daily shifts our world. She loves to cuddle and be held and hugged and smiled at. She loves her sister and loves to give her kisses more than anyone. She loves to joke and play with washcloths, and shes working on her spirit of adventure, starting to trust herself more to do bigger things. (walking on her own!!!) Galilee is soft and sweet and we just find so much excitement to see the tender person she will one day be in the world, and how that spirit of gentleness already affect so many. We love you baby heart...
PRAY FOR US:
We are fully aware of the fact that the enemy has no joy over the calling God has set on our hearts, and already we have experienced the sting of his pursuits after our family's safety and well being. We trust that being in the center of God's will, is the safest place we can be, and have seen his divine provision and protection over us and our children every single day. Please pray for our family, for our protection and that we would always continue to grow more united and stronger in the Lord together. That God would bless the ministry he has honored us to be a part of, and that our relationships in partnerships and in those we come to know and love and minister to, would be so very strong.
